ISLAMABAD: Inspector General National Highways & Motorway Police, Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry, visited the Additional IG Office, North Region.

During the visit, IG Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry inspected the main toll plaza, where he was briefed on the checking of public service vehicles, operational performance, and the newly constructed Drivers Training School in Chakri.

Later, IG Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry chaired a meeting with senior officers at the North Region Office and addressed a session. The Inspector General directed that public service vehicle drivers should undergo annual medical examinations so that any health issues can be addressed in time.

He stressed that an effective strategy is essential to ensure the safety of passengers on motorways. All available resources should be utilized to eliminate crime. He further emphasized the importance of honesty, good conduct, and timely assistance.
