ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority has invited electronic proposals from qualified engineering consultancy firms for detailed engineering design and construction supervision of the 11th Avenue project between Iran Avenue and Srinagar Highway in Islamabad, marking a key step toward improving road connectivity in the federal capital.

As per the Master Plan of Islamabad, Right of Way for this avenue is reserved between Sector F-10, G-10 and F-11, G-10 and connects Iran Avenue with Srinagar.

Formal tender in this regard has been issued by the CDA. The consultancy services will cover complete engineering design, technical planning and on site construction supervision for the proposed avenue, which is considered a vital link for easing traffic flow and supporting future urban expansion.

The authority has sought proposals from consultancy firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council and PCATP.CDA officials said the project aims to strengthen the city’s road infrastructure by developing a modern corridor connecting Iran Avenue with Srinagar Highway, which will help reduce congestion on existing routes and provide smoother access to key sectors of Islamabad.
