ISLAMABAD: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced a three-day open auction of residential and commercial plots, scheduled to be held on December 22, 23 and 24 at Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad.
According to the advertisement issued by the Authority, prime-category plots from various sectors and commercial hubs – including Marakaz, E-11 Northern Strip, Agro Farms, constructed shops of Blue Area Parking Plaza, petrol pump sites and residential plots – will be offered to investors.
The CDA has termed it a “Golden Investment Opportunity,” highlighting a series of investor-friendly incentives. These include a dedicated facilitation team, building plan approval on an initial 25 percent payment, and exemption from site and marketing office charges during the CDA-approved construction period. Plot possession will be granted on 75 percent payment for residential plots and bank guarantee for commercial ones. Taxes will apply as per Finance Act 2025.
To further attract investors, the Authority is offering a five percent rebate on payments made in US dollars for commercial plots, along with an additional five percent rebate on total payment made within 30 days.
Auction brochures are available at CDA’s One Window Directorate and designated bank branches, while details have also been uploaded to the Authority’s official website. The auction proceedings will begin daily at 10 a.m.
The CDA expects robust participation from builders, developers and overseas Pakistanis, noting that the offered plots fall in high-value zones with strong commercial and residential demand.
