The federal government has revised fuel prices for the fortnight starting December 16 on the recommendation of OGRA. High speed diesel has been reduced by Rs14 per litre bringing the new price to Rs265.65. Petrol prices have been kept unchanged at Rs263.45 per litre.

The adjustment follows the government’s regular review based on international oil prices and exchange rate trends. The diesel price cut is expected to provide relief to transport agriculture and freight sectors and may help ease inflationary pressure if savings are passed on to consumers.
