The Capital Development Authority conducted the second day of its residential and commercial plots auction at Jinnah Convention Centre Islamabad with strong participation from investors, reflecting sustained confidence in the federal capital property market. The auction process remained smooth and transparent under the supervision of Auction Committee Chairman and Member Finance Tahir Naeem along with other committee members.

According to official figures, plots worth Rs14.809 billion have been auctioned during the first two days. On the second day alone, sales amounted to Rs1.28 billion. A prime commercial plot in Sector D Twelve Markaz was auctioned for Rs1.04 billion while a residential plot in Sector F Ten Three fetched Rs246 million, highlighting strong demand for premium locations.

The first day of the auction witnessed record breaking bids in Blue Area. Plot number fifteen located at the F Eight and G Eight junction was sold for Rs3.52 billion while plot number seventeen in the same zone achieved a historic bid of Rs9.15 billion. In addition, two commercial plots in Orchard Scheme on Murree Road were sold for over Rs840 million collectively.

The CDA auction of residential and commercial plots will continue until December twenty four at Jinnah Convention Centre. A wide range of plots across multiple sectors is being offered to facilitate both long term investors and end users seeking high value real estate opportunities in Islamabad.

To encourage participation, CDA has introduced investor friendly incentives. Commercial plot buyers paying in US dollars will receive an additional five percent rebate. A further five percent discount is available on lump sum payments made within thirty days of bid approval. Investors can obtain building plan approval after twenty five percent payment and possession after seventy five percent payment.

CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa stated that revenue generated from the auction will be utilized for infrastructure development, urban beautification and improved civic facilities across Islamabad. He reaffirmed CDA commitment to transparency and sustainable urban growth through strategic real estate development initiatives.
