Inspector General of National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP), Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry, paid a surprise visit to Motorway M-1 and (GT Road) to review field operations, traffic management, and the facilities being provided to road users.

The IG NHMP inspected various duty points during the visit and assessed the performance of officers and personnel deployed on the ground. He also received detailed briefings from field officers regarding their duties and sought their suggestions for further improvement in operational efficiency.

During the visit, IG Motorway Police issued important directions to the officers, emphasizing that ensuring safe and comfortable travel for the public is the top priority of the Motorway Police. He directed that prompt assistance must be provided to road users, strict enforcement of traffic laws be ensured, and the rule of law be applied without any discrimination.

IG NHMP Sultan Ahmed Chaudhry further stated that every officer and official of the Motorway Police must perform their duties with a spirit of public service and utilize their professional skills to further strengthen public trust and confidence in the institution.
