The first batch of 37 students from Applied Technologies Institute of NLC (ATIN), Mandra departed for China to pursue the third year of Dual Diploma Split Education Programme at top Chinese universities.
After two years of studies at ATIN Mandra, the students will complete the third year of Diploma in Internet of Things Application Technology (IoTAT) and Mechanical Manufacturing & Automation Technology in the renowned Chinese universities.
The initiative is part of the growing Sino Pak cooperation in the fields of technical and vocational education.
A ceremony to see-off the students was held at ATIN Mandra. Director ATINs, Chairperson NAVTTC Ms. Gulmina Bilal and Song Jianying, CEO of Tang Chinese Education & Technology were present on the occasion.
It is worth mentioning here that NLC’s technical and vocational institutes are playing key role in developing skilled workforce. These institutes have so far provided training to over 80,000 students in different trades enabling them to earn respectable livelihood in Pakistan and abroad.
