Islamabad: Pakistan State Oil (PSO) has reported a profit after tax of Rs20.9 billion for the financial year 2024–25 and announced a dividend of Rs10 per share, representing a 22.5 percent payout ratio. The performance was disclosed during the company’s 49th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Karachi, chaired by Asif Baigmohamed, Chairman of the Board of Management, and attended by Managing Director and CEO Syed Taha along with board members and senior executives.

During the AGM, PSO management highlighted the company’s sustained growth momentum and expansion across Pakistan’s energy landscape. The company now operates a robust network of 3,649 retail outlets nationwide and continues to advance its strategic projects.

Significant progress was reported on the White Oil Pipeline project, which aims to enhance the efficiency and reliability of fuel transportation. In a key step towards sustainable mobility, PSO launched Pakistan’s first New Energy Vehicle (NEV) fast-charging station on the M2 Motorway between Lahore and Islamabad, strengthening its presence in the electric mobility segment.

The company also emphasized operational excellence through automation and digitization initiatives, including the Faisalabad Terminal Automation System. PSO expanded its “Shop Stop” convenience store network by adding 99 new outlets, bringing the total to 310 nationwide, and introduced six new “VIBE Stores” to improve customer experience.

Reaffirming its strategic vision and commitment to national energy security, the management addressed shareholders’ queries and received commendation for the company’s strong financial performance, leadership, and consistent growth trajectory.
