Multiple feeders to face temporary electricity suspensions as development projects and power infrastructure work continue
ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled electricity shutdowns in selected areas of Islamabad, Attock and the Grid System Operation (GSO) Circle on Saturday, October 3, and Sunday, October 4, 2026.

According to the schedule released by IESCO, the temporary interruptions are intended to facilitate ongoing development projects, including flyover and underpass construction, road widening, installation of new 11kV feeders, and the shifting of electricity poles and other power installations. citeturn727024view0
Saturday, October 3: Affected areas
Islamabad Circle
The following feeders are scheduled to remain without electricity from 8:00am to 2:00pm:
- Islamabad Club-1
- Islamabad Club-2
- Mehfooz Shaheed/Shahzad Town
- Filtration Plant
- Pindorian
- Scheme-2
- Orchard Scheme
- CDA Pump
Sudhran Feeder is scheduled for a separate interruption from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
GSO Circle
The following feeders are scheduled for a shutdown from 6:00 am to 9:00 am:
Line Park, Behkri, Al-Qaim, Sarkal, Mangan, Karyala, Jamal Wal, Millat Chowk, Al-Qadir, KSM Unit-3, Al-Rizwan, PAF, Bhun, Hasil, Nela, Pipli, Balkasa, Kot Chaudhrian, Kasral and Dullah.
Sunday, October 4: Affected areas
Islamabad Circle
The same Islamabad Circle feeders listed for Saturday—Islamabad Club-1, Islamabad Club-2, Mehfooz Shaheed/Shahzad Town, Filtration Plant, Pindorian, Scheme-2, Orchard Scheme and CDA Pump—are scheduled to face outages from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The following additional feeders are scheduled for shutdown from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm:

- Rehara
- Park Enclave-1
- Kund Rajgan

Attock Circle
Electricity supply to Lala Zar, POF, Munirabad and Karnel Sher Khan feeders is scheduled to remain suspended from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm.
GSO Circle
The same 20 GSO Circle feeders listed for Saturday are scheduled for a shutdown from 6:00am to 9:00am.
IESCO advises consumers to plan ahead
IESCO said the temporary shutdowns are necessary to support development work and allow power infrastructure to be shifted safely.
The company apologised for the inconvenience and advised consumers to consult its official website and social media channels for schedule updates. Consumers seeking further information can contact the IESCO helpline at 118.
Residents, businesses and other consumers in the affected areas are advised to check their relevant feeder and plan essential electricity-dependent activities around the announced timings.
